Watched the Bodyguard on catch up, pretty decent. I’ve just started watching Homelands, a few slow bits but half way through season one, the main female character gets on my tits a bit.
She’s the reason I stopped watching it Just watched all 10 episodes of Trust about the kidnapping of John Paul Getty’s grandson in 1973, thought it was fantastic
Get shorty, half way through season 1, career criminals trying to make it as Hollywood producers with a stolen script. Very good so far
Just blitzing through the latest series of Man in a High Castle. The idea of parallel universes where things are almost the same but some events turn out to be slightly different, I find appealing. I’m hoping there will be one parallel world where another version of Alioski knows how to stay onside, and one where another Cooper doesn’t pass to unmarked opponents 20 yards out
It’s on Amazon Prime. Third series, based (loosely!) on the Philip K Dick book of the 1960’s. I get it free with prime, you may be able to buy separately I dont know.
I watched the first three and couldn’t make my mind up, the wife didn’t like it so we ended up watching something else. On another note, If you haven’t seen Asian Provocateur with Romesh Ranganathan then it’s on catch up and very funny.
It won’t appeal to everyone as it’s quite science fictiony - my wife can’t stand it. I like it because they’ve spent some money creating a ‘what if the Germans and Japanese won WWII’ world which I find interesting
Seen it Bucks, it’s great. Chris O’Dowd is brilliant in it Season 2 starts on Thursday on Sky Atlantic
OZARK on Netflix has two seasons so far. Just finishing first one. About American financial advisor money laundering for a Mexican drug cartel. Trying a bit to have character traits like those in Breaking Bad. Decent though. Really liked Homeland. Carrie character i honestly think she is a great actress it. Her manic mental disorder probably does irritate but thats the character. Shes won awards for it. The odd season is a bit flat but there are some great seasons too.
