How many Liverpool players are in the England line up.....1 How many UTD players are in the England line up......3 So UTD are the better team (for England)
Quite right Capello bows to Lord F, but K "No title" D is just another average manager with little silverware to show for. And on that, its time to go watch England suffer to a stupid defeat, thanks to downing getting sent off in the 1st minute for being crap laters...
Just because Smalling has played right back, doesn't mean he is one. Jamie Carragher who isn't a right back has played right back. Micah Richards a centre back has also played right back.
Don't worry mate, they'll still save plenty of space on the internet for porn But what matters isn't whether or not he is a right back. What matters is how well he plays there, and right now he is the best England have in that position. Which may not be saying much right now, but for a 21 year old with about four competitive games in that position it's pretty damn good.
Proper Man U face he's got. The Rangers fans have a thread called 'Taig gallery' where they post pictures of the ugly Celtic masses. Maybe there should also be a 'Manc gallery' created to exhibit some of the dregs of humanity that surround that club!

If you post pictures of Gary Neville on this thread it makes all the scousers sulk And Gary may be ugly, but Phil Neville is streets ahead. He's what Gary would look like if his face was turned inside out...
Right, I'm bored of arguing about England now, some lad has just claimed that the south support the country better than the north. What did you lot think about Neville's comments on England? http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/14759457.stm http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/14607562.stm
I don't think it is. People keep saying this, but you if you watch him play, it's obvious he prefers to be central. He kept coming infield against Bolton, and Lucas was telling him to push out because we were losing our shape. He might be happy to play on the right, but he's not really a 'wide' right. He crosses from deep and often tucks in to link up with others. He's kind of a right sided Maxi in that respect. I think he'd be best served in a 4-5-1 as an RCM, with Adam LCM, and Lucas CDM.
David Jones, he was in our youth set up until 2007. He does look like his head was put together by blind monkeys with no thumbs Given your transfers this summer, I was expecting you to line up like that with Suarez wide left and Downing as an 'inside out' wide right. Do you still reckon that's a good option for you, or will Dalglish go to 442 with Kuyt and Suarez upfront given that Carroll is still struggling?
Blind monkeys I still think we will still at times play a 5 man midfield but with the wide men it will become a 4-3-3 when we are attacking. Not sure caroll will start next weekend but that is more about stoke's style of defence rather than caroll's shortcomings.
What formation did you play against Bolton? And who would spearhead the 451/433 against Stoke if not Carroll? To me that 433 still relies on either a very strong or a very quick striker as the spearhead. I dunno if it will be as effective with Kuyt in there, and if you put Suarez there you restrict his ability to create. It'll be interesting to see what you guys go for, as Stoke are a difficult bunch for anyone to play against.
