I suppose the players have all played for free? The club's we got players from all gave them to us for free? The agents all screwed us over for free? The improvements to the training ground where all done free? All the none football staff worked for free? Plus everything else that has to be paid for over the years was just magically covered for free? Yes the TV money is huge but it's eaten up pretty much straight away.
So with Ernst and Young in their corner, with Assem's 'unquestionable business' cv, we were had over by Danny Graham's agent and some moonlighting groundsmen, and ended up used and skint. Blimey the Allams are ****in useless businessmen !
Don't be silly !! We know the wages that players get !! The Allams have done very nicely out of it thankbuou very much !! The thing is they could have done a whole lot better couldn't they?? What are people getting worked up about anyway ??? The end is in sight ! We will have new owners or re owners.. We will see how that pans out !! Personally I wouldn't put money in even if I was a multi Billionaire.
Your the only one getting worked up tbf! I'm glad they haven't done as well as they could out of it, it's a pitty they haven't totally skint themselfs and will still never worry about money again! All I really care about is them going ASAP
It’s 23rd Dec It’s a Saturday night ...and you’ve just realised that you forgot to buy you wife/husband/significant other a Christmas present. Mad frantic hope filled panic over the next ‘24 hours’
Strange things often happen, Assem may well outlive Ehab by many years. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
Assem had stardust thrown in his eyes by Steve Bruce. If I get time next week I'll start going through the accounts and show where half a billion pounds went. I was surprised when I saw this year's accounts. I expected the TV money from our third promotion and relegation to have repaid a substantial part of the Allamhouse loan.
I'll be back for every game and I'd hope most people would if they're able. No one was boycotting under Duffen previously and we shouldn't allow the current situation to cheapen the idea of boycotts. It's taken years of bad blood to get to the point of loads of people boycotting. It should be a clean slate for any new regime surely.
Even if I can't make every game me and my old man will get our season tickets back in the same spot hopefully. I will honestly buy them the day they go. I truly hope we can make the game after they go a sell out. A party atmosphere, singing even if we lose 4-0 to show the new owners what potential there really is.
Sounds like a plan. Although a victory would be good too. Summat like the first win in the premiership against Fulham. Now that was an atmosphere.
I never stopped going until it was evident that kids and OAP's would be subsidising my ticket - until that stops I aren't setting foot in the place, no matter who owns us.
The police don't charge us either, like last Tuesday, there were more police ( all in riot gear which is fill your boots pay wise) in the North Stand then home supporters, well almost, but they work for free so it doesn't matter. The hotels and travel to away games, sometimes via air, is free too. And we don't have to pay any insurance to anyone, its all free. So is the electric and business rates, that's free too. Company cars are free, and the tax ect on them, the bars stocks themselves mysteriously, and the pitches are self cutting/maintenance. Stewards do it for the love of the club, and no-one pays any rent to live in the club houses, it's all free. Club doctors don't charge us either and all the private medical care/operations, even in America are free to us, somehow.
