so a european round up might say:

A. Dortmund and Atletico virtually assured of coming out of group A.
B. Barca and inter 6 points up on spurs.... spurs almost assured of going out. Inter to play PSV again = 9 points. If inter get 1 point out of 6 v barca they will qualify. (spurs need to beat both inter and barca)
C. LFC PSG and napoli all to play for. no clear group favourites. LFc need to beat red star twice
D. really who cares but porto, shalke and galatasaray are close, all to play for
E. Ajax, Bayern and benifa. still all to play for
F. Lyon, Mancity, Shaktar, still all to play for.
G. CSKA, Roma, Real. still all to play for
H. Juve, Utd and valencia. Juve have almost assured themsleve of getting out of group. Utd are handily placed. Valencia must beat up young boys and then beat the mancs at home to progress

So.... It seems like barring Group A theres plenty of entertainment to come form CL.

City and utd are decently placed with some work to do. Spurs are in real trouble. We are decently placed still.

 

Like... ok i don't really mind him moving it if the training session or something requires it but he's not thinking of the newcastle press guy who's now got to come the night before. Bit unfair on those long suffering ****s.

Looking at the squad:

a) england play 3-5-2 or something stupid. 5-1-4 whatever.... ther eis no left wing position in that team. But there are 4 clear contenders for a left wing slot... odd.

b) Lingard is not in due to injury. that gives a space

c) looking at forwards: Kane, Rashford and welbeck are it.... vardy retired... so theres nobody else i that squad that could be called a striker

Its in one way odd as england don't sue wide forwards but in aonther it makes sense if a squad is to have 4 forwards.... there are probably better candidates but it seems you have to be of an age to be considered now... thank **** sturrdige hasn't got a call. welbeck is 27... so i don;t know.
