I am an owner of a company So are another 4 people In that case there are 5 owners, all of whom are Directors too. So everyone has an equal vote (although in the case of reduced attendance at a Board meeting if the numbers were even, or in the case of abstentions etc, the Chair of the Board has the casting vote...obviously that’s me) However that doesn’t make me any more of an owner than the other owners. I’m not Chinese though, as far as I know, and the last thing I’d do is buy Hull City
Ffs. I posted that the owners were Arabs. After that I didn't give a **** whether they were Arabs Chinese or ****ing Eskimos. I shrugged and moved on, because it's not something worth discussing at length. But then I'm not a pedantic, petty, anally ******ed ****, like you two boring ****ers. Just saying like
I’d like Eskimo owners Could get whale blubber pies back on the Hull Pie menu...then before you know it the docks would be heaving with whaling vessels again (and Greenpeace protestors) and the whole area would get a huge economic boost Sort it out Kemps!
Can’t only be me that now wants a set of ****s Top Trumps cards!!! There’s a market there Ben. This time next year we could be millionaires...
In business terms, there's a difference between being a part owner and THE owner. The person who owns the majority is Sheik Mansour. The Chinese people are part owners. So they are owners, they just don't have total ownership. They own 13% of the club. So they have a say in how it is run, marketing and other bits and bobs. They don't have as much say as the other 87%, but a say nonetheless. So technically, because Mansour doesn't own all of it, he can't be the sole owner of the club, because if he were to sell the club, the other part owners would have to agree to it. At the moment, the Allams own 100% of our club. If somebody bought 25% of it, they'd be part owners of the club and decisions would have to go through them, which explains why nobody else has tried to invest.
Mange tout mange tout Den Boy. Bet somebody jumps in & trumps us. We could suggest a few Allam related questions / answers for Cards Against Humanity.
It comes to something when there is 3 pages arguing about the definition of 'owner' at a club we have no interest in... (slow news day!)
So what if a company had 3 owners 40% 40% and 20% The one with the smallest stake would be the king maker.
Yeah, probably. But he'd be a part owner nonetheless. This is really just a case of semantics. I mean we've always referred to the Allam family as the owners, even though it's just Assem that actually owns it.
