Agreed. Although it should be said, that's both pens for us that Ings has stuttered. Not full on Zaza by any means, but I still hate any sort of stutterings. He's not filling me confidence from the spot, despite his 100% record so far. There's a reason why Rickie never missed. Run up and smash the damm thing.
The stutter is great if you are actually good at it, too many don’t fully commit to it and half arse both the run up and the strike
This might kick start our season, to win at a big club however you do it is a massive shot in the arm.
It's good if you do it on rare occasions, IMO. If you do it most of the time, the keeper will react accordingly. It's something you want to plant in their heads rather than something you want them to expect.
Can Hughes not read a game and see what impact his **** substitutions have. He loses us games through his crap changes when we are in control and winning. I've lost patience with the man. He got the job through default when the man they wanted to appoint realised what a crap job it would be and turned Reed down flat. We have become a soulless, aimless' dispirited unambitious football club whose supporters are leaving in droves. What a shambles. Even a win at Everton, a very rare event, can't lift me enough to feel good about the club at the moment.
They are a LOT bigger than us. Plus we never beat them up there. Any win there is bound to give confidence.

Well if anyone believes in omens, we seem to do well against PL sides in this competition and less so against lower league sides. The year we got to the final we played all PL teams. So bring on the PL teams!
