We played well. And arsenal fans have a sense of entitlement that's embarrassing. They're as bad as Liverpool fans.
Met up with Brian this afternoon. Unfortunate that he and his friend Paul (? Sorry I'm awful with names) had to leave early. Two Arsenal fans I was with thought we were properly unlucky. Me? They scored, we didn’t, end of. Harsh, but fair. Still feel mugged. And the gobshite arse fans just the other side of the barriers from me in the clock end really do have an over inflated ego and sense of entitlement usually reserved for manu and liverpoo fans. ****ers!
It was a great meet up sorry we needed to find some food the pub only had pork scrachins (as always new delivery mon )
Sorry Brian and Fez - would have loved to meet up but had to meet other friends elsewhere to get the tickets. I also meant to say I thought the support was terrific yesterday. We've seen fans at the Vic go very quiet this season when Watford turn the screw - our lot yesterday didn't shut up right through the match.
Grim watching: https://www.watfordfc.com/teams/first-team/match-report-arsenal-2-0-watford Deserved some much more, but if you can't take your chances. Success looks like a new signing mind.
Another "what if.." game where if we had taken the chances when we were on top, the result would have been different. A performance we can be proud of but still came away with nothing Again, after this game I do feel we are just that top quality striker and maybe quality CB partner for Kabasele to be a comfortable top 10 team If we can keep up this intensity against the 'smaller' teams, then no reason why we can't finish top half.
