    Just read the fc forum.
One poster on there says it was 7000 another says 6000.

wonder if this is the smallest gate they've had at the kcom?
I imagine hdm are preparing an article on it as we speak.

And before him it used to be Maurice Lindsey ? And before him Eddie 'Up and Under' Warring.
I have an acquaintance who absolutely hates Hull City but follows FC ( only on freebies of which there seem to be shed loads)
He was a guest at the City v Derby game in the league and posted half way through one of his usual quips 'where's the crowd and it's like watching paint dry' He told me 'FC are 8th from top of their league' I replied you mean '4th from bottom, with Rovers'
    Went completely over his head.

Here is the HDM, letting Radford get away with it. "Embarrassment" - how dare they let him off the hook with such weasel words.

Have they suggested he should be sacked yet ? Have they questioned the owners motives yet ? Admit though the link you posted is more damning then the actual match report which makes it sound as though FC won.

They have around 6-7 high earners out of contract at the end of next year, so they have already planned the big overhaul for next year

Probably around the 100k a year mark. It is a salary capped sport remember

Had a look at the figures. As usual with rugby league it is a convoluted affair. A couple of big tents (marquee) signings can earn £175,000.

They can actually earn whatever the club want's to pay them, but as a marquee player only 175k counts on the salary cap. I think Wigan have 2 players on 200k plus, and Ben Barba at Saints is on a fair whack as well

How many managers did Pearson sack when he was in charge of City ? None of them lost ten on the trot.

I wonder if Allam believes that AP stitched him up about being able to buy the KC?

Terrible way to see the season out. But interesting to see what will happen next. After the last two cup winning seasons and the start we had, all seemed good. But it tailed off at the end. Hull seem to be the Spurs of the RL world when it comes to the league. So much potential but never quite get there.

Anyway, next season now. See what happens next... Hoping for a fully fit squad. That'd be nice for a start.

Also, well done to Rovers. Still in the Super League. I don't like you of course, but 2 Super League teams from Hull is always a good thing. Just hope we spank u next season <cheers>

And wishing Shaun Lunt a speedy recovery. I know from personal experience how **** meningitis is. So get well soon :emoticon-0148-yes:

Yeah I also had meningitis when I was nineteen, and can confirm that it truly is a proper ****! It's the only time ever that I've welcomed having a syringe stuck in me, and it was a big black glossy bastard about 2' long stuck into my spinal cord!

Brilliant for Rovers and the East side.... congratulations!! and as has been said to have two teams in the top flight of RL is some achievement on small budgets...
