Match Day Thread Vs Chelsea (A)

Relieved, because I didn't think we were getting back into it. It shows the improvement in the team because in past seasons there's no way we would have.
I'm still disappointed because we had more than enough opportunities to win the game over the 90.

 

We had two cleared off line missed an absolute sitter so despite playing poor come away with a point
One helluva tough fixture down
Played spurs away and Chelsea away
Citeh could drop points there.
Now if we can sneak a win next week we come out of a massively tricky set of fixtures relatively unscathed
Who we got next week ?

Chelsea blew themselves in that first half. They couldn't keep it up in the second half. Have to say Alisson kept us in this game those two saves gave us the platform to knick a draw in the end.

Keita needs game time though their is a feeling he is playing within himself and has more to offer

 

I thought Keita made a big impact when he came on; calm head that takes control of the ball and isn't afraid to make things happen, whether it be by pass, run or trickery. Quality player and can't wait for him to be up to speed.

I do not think we can play Winaldun and Hendo and expect an attacking midfield. One of them, Kieta and Milner is the best 3

 

Alisson was my MOTM. As daft as it sounds because we had more opportunities than them, he kept us in it.

 

Thought Wijnaldum played excellent today bar the back pass. Our best trio is him, Milner and Keita imo

 

I'd happily through Napoli and go all in against city.

If we come through this set of games on top of the table and three point on the board in the group I'd be more than happy.

Alot of negatively around wini today, I thought he was by far our best midfielder. I'm not sure the reason why milner was playing left midfield but he struggled to influence the game today.

Unfortunately for Henderson the game has again passed him by, he is not a 6 and is the weakest of the btob players

Watching the goal again, that is one of the best goals I've seen. If it was anyone else you'd be talking about a miss hit cross.
