Good point against an ugly, dour but effective Pulis team - should give theme a confidence boost.

We will play worse and lose. We will play better and win. The warm up was excellent so it’s not all bad.

Guess a point will do, better than losing to our bitter rivals, but we should really be beating them.

****e defending that made it needed, but it was very very good

Typical Pulis side. All over 6'5" and hoof it long. We battled well today I thought.

I’m in the pub (£1.90) a pint watching the Scouse / Rent Boy game with my future Son in Law. He’s hardcore Chelsea, never been & doesn’t remember the **** times. He’s a good lad though.

The pub is full of middle aged ****s in Scouse shirts, it really isn’t a good look & should be illegal.

I wanted the Scousers to win for Prediction League purposes but I now hope the Rent Boys give them a proper Rodgering.

If Chelsea score again I’m starting a “We want Allam out” chant.

    Bloody brilliant well earned and battled for point, a million times better than recent servings, I admit I feared the worst beforehand, positives;

We manned up & didn't hide.
Match saving save at end by Marshall, he can get down & dive, confident takes and vocal.
Will Keane, primed & ready to come on in injury time, even the players didn't want him on, didn't put the ball out!
Warm up good, particularly the 3 young, fit, 3rd officials, what was that all about?! Not what we usually see from the old codgers at the KCom!
This level performance has to be the norm.

We really should have won that, it was all one way traffic around eighty minutes, but we seemed to get nervous and back off for the last five minutes or so.

    Decent game though.

I enjoyed the game today, it felt harsh to go behind but it was poor defending to concede.

"Chrissy" (ugh, please just call him Chris, I'm sick in my mouth every time I hear that) Martin did well to hold the ball up but he still looks someway off the pace.

Our play at times was really good, getting the ball to feet and giving it to the overlapping player, but at times we over played and our decision making in the final third needs to be better. Three or four times we had a wide player free and we didn't find the pass.

We are going through the middle a lot more, which is good, but there's a lot of cutting inside and turning into trouble, when the easy ball is often down the line.

I enjoyed Grosicki's performance today, easily our best player today and we need to get him on the ball more in future games.

Boro didn't look like a team that could have gone top, they were wary of us and offered next to nothing after they scored that soft goal just after half time. If you think they are a 'very good side/squad' then they kept it well hidden today. Hull City looked the better side all over the pitch even though we were carrying a couple of passengers.

I'd say more like the British Heart Foundation Charity Shop. More divers then you see in the Olympics.
