#seasonover or perfect result to get out of the LC with it being the fault of a blatantly #bentasfuck ref?
Crying ****er, gets beat by some piss poor defending of a set piece and a piece of magic from a great player (assisted by more weak defending) and he blames the ref
He thought about blaming Woodward, Pogba, Mata, Martial, Jones, and Bailly but decided on something more original
Yep, the winning goal was spectacular and worthy of winning the match, Chelsea put out a stronger starting 11 than us and had more real chances in the first half, Sturridge could have won it for us as could have Mane, but fair play to Chelsea. What happened tonight at Anfield against a club in third place in the Premier League can't hide the total humiliation of what lower league Derby County did to Man U at OT last night no matter how much you'd like it to.
Last night VAR taught me that all players should have short hair and run with their hands by their side. A floppy mop of hair may play sometime on, that Luis fella should take note.
I felt our lot grew into the game but as I said to dribs when he said win ugly we were never going to no concede with Moreno there. I think we should give credit to sarri and Chelsea for really going for it. they were the better side for 20mins first half and we finally got going. their subs and our subs decided the game imo. finally we had warnings day 1 about Keita relative fitness levels compared to Milner. he really doesn't look up to this level.of game fitness.. great on ball as well not defensively not brilliant.
Keita and Fabinho will need more time to adapt but thankfully we’re in a position where we can actually give them that. Let’s just hope Gini and Milner keep up their good form!
both are well shy of the levels at the top of the prem. (currently) Chelsea played 2 first choice cms and it showed first 20. once klopp got them to push up we really improved. the issue for me is morata was easy to mop up and willian very wasteful.... it wont be so generpus at weekend.
Anyway..... we are now all eggs in one basket. Given how klopp treats the fa cup I think it's fair to say it's a title push or nothing this year (don't say cl cos frankly a run in that requires huge luck of the draw and form just at the right time. It was great last year but that doesn't mean we won't do a spurs this year)
Tbh out of the cup is no big deal and a loss to Chelsea this weekend although unwelcome need not be a disaster. We are away at a top team and any **** can happen. BUT the media will make a big issue of: 2 defeats in a row First defeat in the league. First points dropped Next match is “crucial “ to avoid 3 defeats in a row. The beginning of the perennial collapse expected of the club. “Pressure” telling on Klopp “Pressure” telling on the players. Chelsea enhancing their credentials as the top dog this season. The Chelsea match has now become #mustwin . Fingers crossed for 3 points but we’d better be ready for the media assault if we don’t.
