'Derby pride' Man Utd 1-2 Derby please log in to view this image Leon Osman Former Everton midfielder at Old Trafford Frank Lampard will be immensely proud of his team tonight. Their football is a real impression of himself and how well he played the game. They have been brilliant.
Me to, seen the last 30 minutes. Looking forward to see the free kick after it's finished. Impressed.
By fielding a weakened side tonight he puts an unnecessary pressure on saturdays game. In fact putting us in a lose/lose situation imo.
Two immediate reactions on tonight. Firstly, it's QPR in the cup, always unlikely we win, in my life time we've not really had a decent cup run. Secondly, what an opportunity stupidly wasted by McLaren. He must surely know that the start this season hasn't been great, and so a good convincing win in the cup would have been great. Drawn against a lower league team, why not play a strong side and lift the spirits of everyone, and maybe even get a nice big draw for the next round. No, instead he messes with the line-up, and puts out a team who really should win, but some of whom have probably never played together. Understandably we're now on here glum and frustrated and the pressure is piled on for Saturday. I was cautiously optimistic when McLaren was appointed, but am losing my optimism fast.
The Pratt I expect already knows the score like us against Norwich when he thought it would be a 0-0 or a 1-0 Shave off that Hair Island He is the bigggest fraud in football imo When you look at all the talent abroad and somehow we get him He doesn’t belong anywhere imo
Guys read what I said! I said he is wrong to field a weak side, I then said he better get a result after doing so! I am not sticking up for him.
Scott Carson reminds me of Peter Shilton in Italy 1990. You know he will never save a pen. Only way for Derby to win is if a Manu player puts it wide.
I wish it was possible to organise a complete boycott of the FA Cup to show how pi**sed off the fans are with this treatment, Do the club not see that we have nothing to look forward to all season and would put an exciting cup run ahead of getting 59 points instead of 55? After starting to get the fans back on side, the tw*t has managed to completely alienate them again. Firstly with a tactical nightmare against Norwich and then misplaced arrogance and contempt for the fans tonight. I feel more fed up tonight than I did on Saturday because tonight was easily avoidable. At least this happened before I bought tickets for the Reading game. I've wasted enough money on a season ticket again and will not be buying a ticket for the FA Cup. If I wanted to watch an U23 game I would do. Every one of those supporters who travelled tonight should be refunded the price of their tickets and travel. If they'd known how the game was going to be treated they surely wouldn't have bothered going.
