Long post but very little substance in most of it. Adkins has a group of players who are better than the performances produced as they look so disorganised with what the coach has set them up to do. Was he supported in the transfer market no he wasn't like most managers in this league you work with what you have. We have plenty of experience in the squad and players who represent their Countries and a couple good young lads who have come through. The shambles I have witnessed on 4 occasions this season have been unacceptable and that rests with the manager because **** knows what is going on on the training ground. Also his comments about Bowen bother me. He's discarded David and Angus yet defends the shower of **** who are his captain and Stewart.
I I don’t like managers who come out and pick out individual players for criticism. I can’t see how it helps the team. MacDonald and now Bowen have been on the wrong end of his critical public tongue this year. I don’t this builds team morale. He would be better off looking at the highlights of the game which showed massive individual errors of a basic level. If he has players who are not good enough then he must take that to the owners and either get more players who he wants or if he feels he is not getting what he needs , then walk away. For what it’s worth I think that Nige must take most of the responsibility for how the team plays. It’s his team, he sets it up and he selects the players. It’s what he is getting paid for. We all know where the blame is at Hull City, don’t blame the players in the press.

Adkins isn't getting the best out of players who are well up to this level, Toral and Dicko spring to mind immediately. We need a coach who can do that with our limited squad and I don't believe that there isn't a hungry, more up to date coach somewhere who would come in eager to show what he can do with our players even with the circumstances with the owners. The team selection has been chronic recently and that was one area I thought Adkins had a handle on. If he picks the same midfield again next match then I think the fans will really turn on him, even the head in the sand types.
Godrevy i know you mean well when you say go to the owners and get more players but unfortunately he won't get much backing there, he didn't get any backing with all his first choice transfers before the season started so he won't now. Regarding walking away if i was him and I didn't get any backing then I'm afraid I would hang around bite my touge and collect my wage packet until the day comes along that they sack me and I can say " told you so". Now regarding its his team yes it's what he is left with properly not the team he would have liked but he has to change something and at this moment in time the centre midfield is a major concern so he will either have to change the system or play players who haven't done it consistently in the past or even play players out of their natural position. What I do agree with you is not calling players in public keep it inhouse.

Is Milinkovic the new Kamil Ghilas? Jeez none of us have ever seen him play in a competitive match and he has been used as an example of someone who Adkins can't get the best out of. He could be bloody awful. I am not an Adkins lover, nor am I an Adkins hater. He is an average manager give him a good team he will do well, give him this cobbled together squad he won't. Yes people keep mentioning individuals who are talented. Football isn't played on paper it's a team game. We can't just keep rebuilding a squad and expect us to start well. We are like Sunderland and Villa in the Premier League hoping for a miracle.
