I can say with utmost confidence that the Malian Djimi Traore is more deserving to be on a list of top African players to play in the Premier League then the Frenchman Eric Cantona.
Not PL but still... Striker - Gordon Hodgson: South Africa-born forward Hodgson is one of the greatest goalscorers in Liverpool history - netting an incredible 240 times in 378 games to sit third in the all-time list. Spotted by club scouts when visiting England with a touring side in the early 1920s, he spent more than a decade at Anfield and represented both South Africa and England on the international stage. #oldskool
@Tel won't like this. Djibril Cisse won a Champions League medal with Liverpool, so he must be better than Eric Cantona Cisse>Cantona
Matth On the subject of Evra or Henry, its a difficult one to judge because they dont play the same position. On the matter of their worth to the team, I would say Henry edges it, but thats partly because he was part of inferior teams compared to Evra. i dont know......
It really isn't. Henry is probably the best player ever in the PL, regardless of his position. I know strikers get more glory than defenders, but seriously, Evra better than Henry
You've actually taken that bait and made a full on pic-nic out of it, sat on your own in your little field eating maggots and wondering how the **** your life has come to this, when you were so devoted to being a vegan Scientologist non-binary crow-stroker.
GTFO you *****tron. We have had several better players, such as Ronaldo, Scholes and Giggs. Cantona is more subjective but be honest mate your golden boy couldn't get anywhere near those three legends.
Yeah sorry but that honour has to go to Ryan Giggs, for quality, longevity, consistency, trophy haul, everything......
