Clever move by Sarri. They’re unbeaten and o my 2 points behind us and about to play us twice in a week. He’s just taken all the pressure off his team - if they win either game, they get a lift, if they lose either, they’re not too disappointed.
you are probably right. thats most likely his exact aim. he said they are "a year behind " us. whatever that actually means
Why Manchester City already see Anfield clash with Liverpool as potential title-decider Ilkay Gundogan admits that trip to Reds will be "a real test" https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/spo.../manchester-city-already-see-anfield-15191787
tbh the last time.we played Chelsea and city together was 2013/14. Rodgers lost both at Christmas time and it took an 11 match winning run just to catch city. it's not a decider but losing both would put a dent in our season big time. potentially we could go from top to 4 points off city. they are what they are... 6pointers. mourinho style = Don't lose these. klopp style.. have a right go at winning them. if lfc won both.... we would open a 5 point gap on both pundits favourites. if we draw both at worst we would be level top with them. win one and lose one.. well you get more points but one cpuld be a point ahead. I am actually more concerned about when the return games are... spurs Chelsea and city in short order isn't a great run of games.... I've not really looked
Basically he’s saying that everything else is not a test so far. When you consider how they’re playing without their best player, I don’t blame him. It’s still City’s to lose imo....so winning this would be a huge statement..but we need to overcome Chelsea first. Not to mention Napoli away. 14 days of potentially top football ahead. How things have changed under Klopp.
Pogba was always going to have his head turned by his agent. He will be following the Lukaku model soon enough.
Leaving utd for a bigger club? Lukaku left chelsea as a perma-loanee for a big enough fee to make Chelsea happy and you got a decent amount of time out of him and made a massive profit. On the other hand pogba left utd on virtually a free with ferguson fuming spent 4 years at juve winning easy trophies then returned for a massive fee and his agent made an absolute killing on the deal. I don't see the similarities TBH. If anything lukaku was good to you lot.
Having disliked Evra before Suarezgate and wrongly classed as racist because of my dislike for him, I think it's fair to say my dislike of him is justified having just read of his animalistic behaviour, he's a dirty filthy bastard. 'I took his shoes and went into the toilet, and I **** inside them': Patrice Evra reveals how he got revenge on Gerard Pique at Manchester United https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/f...t-revenge-Gerard-Pique-Manchester-United.html
don't forget he is 6 years his elder so when the incident occurred. Evra had his kids names on the nike trainers that the manc ****s bunred and sent him a viedo of so when he found who was responsible clearly he showed what he was capable of. We must remember this is a 19 or 20 year old pique and a 25 or 6 year old evra.
Football then as now is a rich man's game at a top club like man u, he could easily have afforded another pair with his kids names on, he also could have just cut Pique's clothes up or even "burnt" his shoes. No excuse for going to the extremes that he went to, disgusting ****, obviously stunk the place out but apparently acceptable behaviour at OT back then.
Obviously ferguson encouraged a dog eat dog culture where only the "fittest" survived I would agree. clearly he was either too afraid the smack the lanky twat or his instinct to react was just filth. Pique would have probably had **** clothes and Evra thought the guy would just walk out in his training kit and go home.
