    The productivity (and quality) from my favourite band in this period was amazing and they followed up the previous year's double album with two albums that virtually invented Alternative Rock.
    First was New Day Rising in January...



    And then Flip Your Wig in September..

    And from my favourite group of all time - I actually think musically this was better than True, but it wasn't as big a hit. A bit more of a mature song from them, but Tony Hadley...what a voice.
