    Not even close. His job was to check for offsides and that one was as blatant as they come. Disgusting. You have to despair about the incompetence of the officials. Unless there is something more sinister

    I do laugh how commentators and pundits talk about Pickford and his great distribution.

    No.. he can just kick the ball far compared to other keepers. Doesn’t mean he’s a good distributor. All he tends to do is try play it long quickly and pumps it up to the CF who is being marked by 3 defenders.

    The linesman had a clear line of sight, with no obstruction and the speed was not like the speed of light. So he has no excuses!
