Well I’ve just had a message from Cowell. His boss is mates with the press officer at leeds and the players we were apparently after are; David Bentley, Bjorn Riise and Wayne Bridge and of course Puncheon and theres a good chance of Bridge on loan apparently…

I’ve told LIW, he is going there with me sometime but what I would love to do if I ever got married is like a 3 place trip (I don’t think 4 would be suitable as it would take like 3 weeks other wise I’d add on Hawaii) of Vegas, San Francisco and LA

 

I've never been there sww, but I could imagine if I lived there, i'd be a bankrupt, homeless, alcoholic gambling addict within a fortnight.

I'd heard about the Bentley move, apparently it was similar to the Puncheon situation, he was set to sign, then West Ham nipped in and he wanted to stay in London. had also heard about Bridge, but not too bothered if that happens or not, don't think he'd be too interested in putting 100% in if he came on loan.

Now getting Bridge really would represent progress. We know England management keep a small eye on the Championship. So Bridge would still want to keep himself in the shop window, as much to help support a move out of Man City to another top PL club as anything else. So yes, he I would welcome.

Bentley seems to have lost his way of late. Were he to ever find it again, someone would be getting a class act.

 

I kinda agree about Bridge, but a defender on loan is better than no one on loan. Would allow White's pace to be used down the wing if he can prove he has the composure for it.
