These owners are exactly what we have needed. Having been in the press a lot over the past 3 years for all the wrong reasons, we have needed a period for stability away from mass external scrutiny. And the manner in which the club is now being run is fantastic. Comments regarding the youth academy as well are very reassuring, as their ultimate goal is what has been needed for ages. Lets hope their "5 year plan" turns out for the best!
Wow - just wow. Kudos to the owners for this statement! This shows real intent that they have listened to the fans in what we need and what we want - and it is a nice gesture from the owners to release this statement. The 5 year plan sounds interesting - and if we keep progressing in a similar fashion to how we have been then I have no qualms about the owners intent to be here for the long term and to once again make PFC into the club it once was. What can we expect in the 5 year plan then? Promotion? New stadium? Redevelopment of FP? Youth acedemy? Gosport based training facilities? I think with a club that is literally down to the bare minimum at present, there is a hell of a lot of potential and a lot of areas that need improvement - but for a first real statement of intent - well done to them! And PUP!
Well they certainly talk a good game. If this is backed up by positive action then the future is looking more stable that we could have hoped it to just a year ago

Thanks Wooperts_duck! I haven't been anywhere. Maybe I've just been a little more dedicated in the office! This is all a bit crazy though. Can someone explain how you get points and a level score on here? Not that I'm competitive at all.
Hi Wallasey. You get points for each post, or thread, etc. The more points you get, the higher the 'Level' you reach. All very exciting !! Joking apart, it's nothing too serious, as the site is easy to use, and to my mind, better than the old BBC606 site - mind you we still get invaded by the occasional wums from "Down the road", although the vast majority of Saints fans are o.k., and join in the banter on here. You will find all your old friends on here - it's like coming home after a long "holiday" away
