Hey all, After what I think was a good night of signings, does anyone know the squad numbers for the new players? I can't seem to find them! Also an interesting one is in our first game against hadjuk split Pennant was wearing the No7, don't know if that will effect anything but it is interesting
He's worn 16 since then, but nothing from the club about the change. maybe too many fans with "Pennant 16" shirts were complaining.
Pennant was number 7 but's going back to his old number (16?) for some reason I cannot remember. Palacios signed an autograph on Saturday with the number 7 apparently, so i'd guess that's going to his number. Is number 10 free?
Yeah, pennant went back to 16, because of the amount of new shirts people had it printed on, and apparently everyone with one of the new 7 shirts got a replacement with 16 on it. I know you don't like him Sgt, but how could you forget Fuller wears the number 10?
http://www.stokecityfc.com/page/NewsDetail/0,,10310~2439017,00.html? STOKE CITY'S three Transfer Deadline Day signings have today been issued with their squad numbers for the 2011/12 season. The first transfer completed yesterday was for Honduras international Wilson Palacios, and he will take up the number 40 shirt following his move from Tottenham Hotspur. Striker Cameron Jerome, who later completed a move from Birmingham City to sign a four year deal with the Potters, will wear the number 33 shirt previously worn by Ibrahima Sonko. New Club record signing Peter Crouch was the final arrival as he joined team-mate Palacios from White Hart Lane. The England international will wear the number 25 shirt for City this season.
