Well inside the half mile marker and it seems attivo has seen off all challengers with just Fabio hanging in there in second 8l behind the leader. Ron has dropped out of contention, weakening rapidly through the field as though something has gone amiss and is now back in 15th place. The nearest challengers to fill the places are Circle, 7l back in third just half a length ahead of tward who shades Spaniel by 1/4l for 4th just over 1/4l to Steveo and Talal same distance away in 6th

 

Tempted to throw what little I have left at the Frankel colt, Wadilsafa, tomorrow, but in the form I'm in I'll leave it. Odds on anyway. Would have put the winnings (if any) on 6/4 shot Winter Lightning 30 mins later
