Apparently at Bolton on Saturday Eze and Freeman played the wide rolls and swapped flanks at will allowing them to float in behind the front 2 so pretty much the same tonight....... But that is just my take on things so is probably wrong....
Apparently they like to take over Belushi's opposite S/Bush Central Line station? Last year they turned up 2 mins before ko creating havoc down Ellerslie.
For some reason I thought this game was being played on Tuesday night and made arrangements to go out tonight. I didn't find out that this was on tonight until Monday by which time it was too late.
We were never really in trouble last season were we mate? We were the previous season but not last. I think we were just nervous so it might have felt like it.
I have found a pub locally. I went in to confirm they had the game on as Manure are playing tonight and the manager said the locals have insisted on the QPR game being on. Happy days. Personally, I wanted to be at HQ but sadly life things are getting in the way. Come on you R's!!!
I was going by the fact that we got 2 or was it 3 points more than the year before, where we were 1 goal off relegation. At no stage until it was mathematical did I feel we were safe last season, we always had it in us to lose 6 in a row.
I was there too. Went with a mate and stood behind the goal where we scored. From that point on some nutcase next to us kept offering Givens out evertyime we attacked. Givens gave a bit back at corners. Highlights do make us look good, but we miles better than them. What is so good about the footage is it shows just how good we were on the ball and our movement off it. I know Sexton managed the great team of 75/76 but let’s give Jago some credit here for putting the blueprint together.....and Bowles was out of this world!
Jago put the basics in place whilst TV often led the coaching as well. Sexton came in after and basically fine-tuned the whole shooting match, it'll never be repeated...
When watching that again what struck me was how DT was such a good player that on the left side he could take inswinging corners with his right foot and on the right side inswinging corners with his left foot. I don't think there is anyone playing today who can do that........ Plus TV was just conducting the whole game around him.......what a great side that was......
It will be interesting to see how Cameron fits in. He is probably in as a minder to our boys/playmakers. Come on u RRRrrssss!!!!
