I think he made it look worse than it was. Sturridge got the ball but the follow through and contact - could have gone either way.
Keepers know that they usually get the call on any contact. Think it's wrong as poor keepers can now get away with too much if they make it look like a foul or contact made on them.

If it happened anywhere else on the pitch then the ref might have blown it off. The fact that it happened to a goal keeper then it's a foul everytime. Refs protect keepers.
