We're obviously in the market for a loan striker when the window opens next week.

Who are we likely to get?

Paul Benson's name has been mentioned on GillsConnect, maybe shaun Harrod from
Nothampton. Who else do we fancy?

Harrad last night signed for Bury so no joy there. I literally have no idea who we will be in for, but I trust Hessy to get the right man.

I'm sure there are also a large number of out of contract players who might be willing to come in on a short term contract at a very reasonable salary in order to get themselves in the shop window.

There used to be a list of available players on the pfa website - http://www.givemefootball.com/ - but that wasn't available yesterday. I don't know whether they've taken it off permanently, or temporarily during the peak of the transfer window, or whether it's now just available to subscribers, but it was an interesting resource. Just means that we can't speculate about players that may or may not be suitable.

I can see us getting no one at the minuet, but i would love to see Robert Hall from west ham, quality young lad who knows where the goals is, but I don't know what level he would be at, might be too good for league 2?

My friend who's and ebbsfleet fan said this robert hall guy dismantled there team single handedly when they played each other in a friendly so he sounds like he'd be a great loan signing and i'm sure we'll get someone decent as its not like Hess has rushed into things!

I don't think Hess is really taking our need for a striker seriously, I have been sitting by the phone with my boots cleaned and nothing.

If he phones now I might just tell him where to go.:emoticon-0102-bigsm:emoticon-0102-bigsm:emoticon-0102-bigsm:emoticon-0102-bigsm:emoticon-0102-bigsm
