Who do people want to win the CL? Can´t imagine many here backing England´s representatives, so I suspect many here will have a soft spot for Juventus. I notice Atlético who have done nothing so far this season, won 2-1 in Monaco. Would be great if they could go all the way and play Real in the final. My personal wish would be PSG.
Probably belongs in the other thread, but I'd have zero problem with Spurs or Liverpool winning CL. Wouldn't love Man City winning it, but wouldn't be upset. Really want Man U to crash out, because I cannot stand Mourinho.
Liverpool will go a long way in the CL, as should PSG. City should at least get to the QF, and if the Guardiola effect kicks in, even further. Spurs will drop into the EL. Manchester United might be the AC Milan of 2007, do nothing in the league and win the CL. Mind you Atlético are ahead in that department for this season at any rate.

I have it on good authority he was denied a summer move to St Mary’s. He had been given a verbal agreement personally by Klopp on the Big Dipper in Blackpool during contract extension negotiations when Salah realised exactly what was in the popcorn sat on Klopps lap. Salah apparently told Klopp he wanted to go when he learned of Saints interest and told him the lure of playing for the club of his childhood hero; Ian Dowie, was too much to turn down. When we thought we had our £4.4m bid accepted, they offered us Danny Ings instead on loan with an option to buy for c. £20m, and fat **** head Les Read showed his business acumen by stealing straight in to seal the deal. Salah apparently went ****ing mental at hearing this and called Dowie directly to demand an explanation. When learning Dowie didn’t still play for Southampton, and that it was actually Carrillo that played for us last season, Salah calmed down a little and told Klopp he would see how it goes until Jan 19, but told him categorically he would never hold another meeting with him in Blackpool without his agent present. And that he can never eat popcorn again.
