Probably the first mini-crisis that Poch has had to deal with. Worrying times

 

Thst was an idiotic goal to give away. Far too easy for them.

We’re falling to pieces right in front of our eyes.

 

2-1 FT. Poor first half, then controlled the second until a series of poor subs which let them back into it.
I'm disgusted by that, honestly. Winks for Lamela destroyed our shape completely, then taking Kane off for Rose invited them on.
I don't know what's happened to Pochettino this season, but he's making some terrible tactical decisions and it's costing us badly.

 

Yet again negative and bizarre subs by the manager.

We’re not good enough to try to shut up shop at 1-0 up. Poch has a lot of work to do.

 

And their replacements were 2 of our better players

 

Over the past four years Poch constantly talked about mentality. About time he took his own advice!

 

Gutted. Poch has got to earn his money now.

 

I can’t believe we just got beaten by that shower of ****. It just shows how bad we are at the moment.

Substitutions from Poch weren’t great, but our bench options and squad depth isn’t good enough, and it’s showed again.

 

That was pathetic. There are some players who need to have a long hard look at themselves. They had that game won and lost it. there's something wrong there and I don't see it being fixed before Brighton. We'll lose again on Saturday.

 

I have nothing positive to say...they are making a huge hole for themselves.
We will get nothing from the Barca games so this is a crushing defeat for the players and manager.

This run of 3 games is like watching spurs of old...do it's like meeting an old friend

 

Sorry to say it but this the season we go backwards. Bloody kills me to admit it but that squad desperately needs new blood and energy.

We look flat. Out of ideas and lacking inspiration.

 

One of the worst players at this club by a mile, down there with Nando, GK and Janssen. If it weren't for being "one of our own" others would be saying it too, people are just blinkered by sentimentality.

 

I'm so pissed off with that. The main thing is it was undeserved. We were a notch above them all second half. I hate writing this but what is the.point of Harry winks. Adds nothing. Would love to be proved wrong.

 

Pochettino absolutely ****ed that for us.

Can't believe he actually reverted to the formation that ****ed us against Liverpool when we were in a comfortble lead with the 4231. Absolute shambles, he's clearly not learning from mistakes and that's worrying as well as infuriating.

 

What a downer, there is no way we should have lost that.

 

I don't think that it's the players. The tactics and team selection's gone to ****, for some reason.

Lamela looked fine and was causing them problems, while Dier and Dembele looked knackered and we had natural replacements for them.
Neither's been playing particularly well anyway and both are struggling for fitness, so why take off the Argentinian and ruin our shape?
Chucking Rose on for Kane was absolutely ridiculous. It resulted in endless pressure and no outlet.
Llorente hasn't done amazingly for us, but he knows how to hold the ball up and see out a game, especially in Italy.

Pochettino's constantly chopping and changing our tactics now, when we've had stability and consistency in the past.
He used to switch personnel and largely stick with the same system, while playing everyone in correct positions.
Now we're using a different formation every game and putting square pegs in round holes.
Our defending on set-pieces has absolutely gone to pot, too.

We need to get back to doing what we know we do well, starting with Brighton.
A positive start to the season in terms of results has now gone completely.

 

Starting to think there's some real friction between Poch and Levy, maybe Poch really was pissed at the lack of signings because his management has been absolutely shocking of late. It's as if he's deliberately making stupid decisions as a "**** you" to Levy.

 

I have been saying it for a while, but we need to try something new. It’s a risk to do so, but we’ve lost 3 games in a row and something needs to change.

Moura is simply undroppable at the moment, but the rest of our forward line needs switching up.
Another game without a Kane shot at goal. Inter were ****, yet once again the best thing we can say about Kane’s game tonight is “didn’t he hold the ball up well” . It’s just not good enough.

The middle of the park is worrying. Dier was ****ing awful again, winks offers nothing, and Dembele we know is struggling. It’s putting too much pressure on the defence and making the back line very jittery.

I know we were missing 4 vital players tonight, but there’s some who just aren’t cutting it at the moment. The squad is looking more and more like it needed investment in the summer, and we’ve only played 6 games.

January is a long way away, and it’s unlikely we’ll make any signings, so it’s about time we tried something new. Against better PL teams, we’re gonna be in big trouble, and we’ve already noticed that we’ve been found out by the ones we’ve played.

What’s the point of Llorente in a match day squad? Kane replaced by....Danny Rose. Times to give some of the academy players a chance, they can’t do any worse.

As others have said, this is Poch’s biggest test yet. We are all over the place.

 

There’s definitely something wrong, imo. There too many players below par, or completely off form at the same time for it to be a just a coincidence.

Whatever the problem is, this is currently a very unsettled, unhappy ship.

 

Just as long as he’s nowhere near the penalty area defending set pieces!!!
