I blame Hughes only for not learning from Leicester. McCarthy at faul for the first goal, Prowse for the 2nd. Hughes isn’t at fault for that
It is a mental thing!! SFC are conscious of this and it is impacting on their performance. Difficult match on Saturday but against a "mid-table" team away, they should be able to compete.
First half was a good controlled performance and we deservedly went in 1 up, but we didn’t exactly create much, despite dominating. Second half Brighton upped it and we looked ****
As I was saying... 2-0 up. Cue terrible defending. Cue JWP needlessly chargining into someone in added time to give away a penalty. Sigh.
Disgraceful second half performance again. What happened during the half time break, not exactly surprising though as its the norm when most of the players think they have done the job after 45 minutes
No but he is at fault for inviting the pressure on for the last 10 with the Long sub. And seemingly not being able to keep the players going into the second half
It seems the problems of closing games out from the last 2 seasons are still there. Who would have thought...
SFC will get 3 home points against someone who would normally wipe the floor with them. I don´t believe for one minute Brighton are as good as Saints. Saints mentally at home let them down.
I think we should be able to control a game we’re leading with Long off the pitch. Long offers the long ball option, which isn’t the way I would like us to see out the game. Our whole team panicked, and the players didn’t work hard enough for each other once Brighton pressed us. Brighton on the other hand, worked hard for each other and made space.
Yep but unfortunately one positive is that every team will attack like **** if we go ahead.and well oblige.Sigh!
