Their only decision was they wanted to give Man City an extra goal

They'd have definitely got a penalty if Moreno had been brought on

#bentasfuck FA needs to take action against Spurs for refusing to water the pitch before the game and then at half time only watering the half they would be attacking

Points deduction for unsporting conduct needed

Hmm strange timing of this comment.

Moreno has been a liability for a while.

Whatever Milner is on, I want some. He's attacking down the left one minute then defending on the right the next. He must cover every outfield position in the team during a game. I half expect to see him nudging Alisson out the way and making a save.

It's extraordinary... I remember thinking at one point (think last January, maybe it was the January before) when it looked like time had caught up with him... he looked willing but knackered.

Fast forward to now and he looks like a piece of Iron lol...

What I like about Milner is he is still learning even at his old football age. I remember him really struggling to play midfield under Rodgers and coming to the conclusion that is the reason he was pushed out wide earlier in his career. He has worked well with Klopp and both he and Wijnaldum are the reasons both Hendo and Fabinho cannot get a game.
His corners are not the best but there is no better in game crosser like Milner okay maybe De Bruyne..

i thik you need to look at how klopp managed him last year though....

figures got a bit skewed towards the end cos we only had 3 fit midfielders but he played 32 games but was subbed on in 16 of them... so think baout that... he only started 16 prem games last year...

he pplayed 11 CL games, only subbed on in 2.

Klopps used him far more so far this year...... one game per week though... with international break as well resting him.

I for one will be interested to see what klopp does now its 2 games per week every week.

I fancy milner will be used in one game a week.

I think it speaks volumes that when Fabinbho and Keita came in Wijnaldum and to a lesser extent Milner were an after thought in our team selections and they are now arguably playing as two of out stand out performers. It goes to show a bit of competition goes a long way and shows a strong message to other squad members that if you show the right qualities, attitude and performance you will be selected regardless of price tag or name.

Stones actually scored a goal in the world cup identical situation, but then Klaim tapped in after keeper 'saved' it.

Gini and Milner both stepping up this season Which is great to see. And it’s no coincidence that it’s mostly due to the absence of a certain individual ...

    (No it’s not Emre Can)
