I had a ****ing KFC on my way home from a weekend away.

Add to this the breakfasts, meals out and ridiculous consumption of ale, red wine and gin I am a proper fat bastard this Monday morning.

Although one of our subbies just insisted he buy me breakfast, the ****.

Will be having a 'light' dinner and tea today, and for the rest of the week.

Ate a mountain of McDonald’s yesterday after about 7 pints.

Spent most of the night on the toilet.

    Feel utterly horrible today.

I also had a McShit breakfast yesterday as I didn't get up for the actual hotel one.

I feel kind of polluted after yesterday.

Yeah they did Saturday and Sunday. We watched the match near the hotel then went around the Bullring area for food. Wanted to get a curry but my oldest is a fussy eater.

Pulled pork failure.. been in the pizza oven for four hours and wasn’t cooking in the middle, decision made to cut the joint up into smaller pieces for three hours..

Has meant that now it’s cooked it’s not falling apart.. first attempt doing it in a pizza oven. Tastes lovely..

The joint was massive. After four hours probed it and was still cold I’m the middle. Needed a lot longer I think in there.

Not sure on how you've done this but a pizza oven would normally be very hot?
So I would have gone with that high heat for about 20 mins and then got it down to about 160 and for about 8 hours for a joint of that size, would also need moisture at times.
Maintaining the heat would be the problem.
Love that you've tried it this way. You could go even lower on the heat and stay up all night cooking it really low.
So we'll need beer and tunes, next time give me a shout and we'll pull a night shift and eat it for breakfast. <ale>

It’s got a temperature gauge. We tried to keep it around 150. Used cherry wood logs.

Next time will do in the oven for 3-4 hours then pizza oven.
