Slight change of topic, but a hell of a free kick in injury time in the Blackburn v Villa game as well!
Congrats on holding on with 10 men for 14 seconds We played with 10 longer than that when Firmino was eye gouged
Yes the chavs should have won today anyway, but their method of constantly changing manager looks to be working again. Hazard has stepped up a level again too
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/45536844 Given the usual diving I don't think he's read The Boy Who Cried Wolf!
God knows what Morgan got sent off for there.... 2 tackles that he cleanly won the ball on and ref decided that one of them was a yellow card... this after giving a penalty against Leicester for handball where the guy was a yard away with his hand down by his side... Ref gave a load of handballs against us today that were so close couldn't do anything about. Wonder if been given some kind of directive to punish handball more this season?
Petr Cech giving away another corner from passing it out... surely only matter of time before he’s dropped?
So we win 5/5 and aren’t top of the table When will the press start to talk about Chelsea as title contenders? The spotlight is hardly on them and yet their start is more impressive than our. It should very much be!!
They have a decent squad and a great manager by the look of things. It’s early days but if we are being touted as challengers then surely they should be....but few are talking about them! I’d like the pressure to be applied equally please!
110 years of the top flight. This season is only the third time in English top flight history and the first time in 110 years that two clubs-Liverpool and Chelsea have won their opening five games of the season, previously 1905-1906 and 1908-1909 campaigns. First time in Premiership years
They've played nobody and yet even then the massive cracks in their defence have been exposed for all to see IMO they still aren't even #nailedon for top 4, and if Hazard gets injured they'll have to settle for top 10
They have played away only twice to Newcastle and Huddersfield, compared to our three away to Palace, Leicester and Spurs
We've both only faced one other top six club. Theirs was at home to Arsenal. We've played Spurs away.
