Isn't the man behind mkm in his 70s? Seems a stretch that he'd want the hassle and a quick way to lose his money at his age?
I work in the industry and there's literally no way MKM and its owners will be buying Hull City. I'm not shooting the messenger but this is not going to happen. Unless it does, then I will eat my hat, just in case. But it's not. Mumble.
He's 73, but the company MKM is worth a hell of a lot(I think he's worth about £80m personally) and it'd probably be his directors running it. Handily, there's a lot of them in the local area. If nothing else, he is a local bloke. But then I guess so is Ehab and that didn't turn out so great. We've been stung before, the trust is gone.
Travis Perkins and British Steam Services are massive compared to MKM. I don't think they've bought a football club yet. Buying a football club right now by MKM would be a huge leap of faith. But stranger things have happened.

None of the mentioned have anywhere near the financial clout to own a football club...they could probably buy us, but actually running us and making us competitive is a no go imo

I was given 4 names of which 2 had connections to MKM at director level. Mr Boanus was also mentioned and A.N. Other who might have been Mr.Jones of Jones Electrical. My only regret was that I didn't listen acutely due to being slightly pissed after celebrating yesterdays win. A consortium would be the logical answer but who knows? I'm only telling you what I heard. Does this make me a bad person?
