Bruma, Van Aanholt, Cunningham, Kirkland, Bednar, Naughton, Mee, Kamara, Yakubu, Vitor So from last season loans no one returned. I'm quite surprised as I thought at least 2 would. We know we tried to get Yak but wages was the problem. Their was talk Vitor was coming back but he got injured and the rumour died. We said early on Naughton was going to be too expensive so moved on which is fair enough. Ben Mee turned us down as he didn't think he would get in the team so he went Burnley. Bruma went quite early on as did Kamara. Cunningham is still injured but we have 4 left backs on the books so that won't happen. I don't think we ever went after PVA And Bednar and Kirkland are **** Anyone else surprised none came back after quite a few that they would be happy to return. Not like we will miss any of them except Naughton
Yes I am surprised. It's more of a case of them not wanting to come back than us not wanting them though. The majority of successful ones have gone to Premiership clubs and Mee wanted first team football that we couldn't assure him (though now I'm wishing we had assured him it). The Vitor one isn't completely dead, he could still come on loan again at some point.
PVA is now at Wigan? Hutton has move so Kyle walker has been promoted and Naughton now second fiddle not third! Think we have moved on and up. Probably only Vitor or Naughton would be ok to see a return?
A little surprised we didn't bring Yak back but now the tranny window has ended I'm NOT surprised as imo we've bought better replacements. Only Yak and and Naughton would have got in the first teamand expected Naughton's to be in the prem Shows how much better quality we have compared to last year Bruma long term will probably be a better player than mills but we need instant success so Mills is better for us at this point in time Koncheskey has experience so like Mills is better for our current requirement of instant success. We may get Cunnigham back when fit. But wouldn't be surpriseed if we didn't as think he'd only act as backup.
