Hmmm, at least we only throw cardboard happy clapper thingies! McCarthy: Fans Waited to Throw Bottles at Me at Brentford https://www.twtd.co.uk/ipswich-town-news/34422/
His time was clearly up long before, what with them waiting to throw bottles and him mouthing f... o.. at the away fans at C R last season !
I'm astonished not to have seen a response from JM Fan admonishing Adi Boothroyd for saying Madders is not ready for England seniors. In my opinion he is far more ready than many who have been chosen.
Ha, yes Dave. Think about it from Boothroyd's point of view - if he says JM isn't ready, then he gets a 'man' playing against 'boys' #elementarymydearwatson #hesnotstupid
I think the non-story about how expensive his trainers were is well and truly behind JM - he got a tremendous welcome when his name was announced and when he was subbed. Were you there DD??? http://www.edp24.co.uk/sport/norwic...addison-reflects-carow-road-return-1-5684684t a trememenhttp://www.edp24.co.uk/sport/norwich-city/canaries-old-boy-maddison-reflects-carow-road-return-1-5684684us
Michael Bailey talks to Russ Martin in a West Bromwich hotel. Or, as Scott Walker once said "No Regrets". http://www.eveningnews24.co.uk/spor...llwall-and-more-with-russell-martin-1-5684457
England lost, couldn't give a feck. Therein lies the appeal of whatever that was tonight that I didn't watch.
Nice interview with James Maddison on his move to the Prem, etc. Includes these lines: What is it with Alex Neil? Buying players (JM, Pritchard, etc) but then refusing to give them a game? Good for you Alan Irvine for having the balls to try out our ex-wonderkid http://www.pinkun.com/norwich-city/maddison-so-grateful-to-ncfc-1-5686485
Midfield overload? http://www.eveningnews24.co.uk/sport/norwich-city/ncfc-david-freezer-column-1-5686459
First home match I ever went to, due to family moving from Norfolk to Essex when I was 11. The steward behind the goal approves! Rewind Norwich City@RewindNorwich #OnThisDay in 1989, Robert Rosario scored ITV's Goal of the Season against Southampton which finished 4-4. #OTD #ncfc #otbc
AN wanted to send JM back to Aberdeen, but JM opted to stay and fight for his place. I was fortunate enough to be able to see him in several Under 23 games (nearly freezing to death at times along with ILD - remember him??) and his skills showed through in most games along with a young player by the name of Middleton!!!
Any idea why when anyone (including me) posts a comment including a tweet I can only see the words 'loading tweet'.....but it never loads? I've tried refreshing the page etc but they still won't open, which is why I now copy and paste the text of tweets and any related photos. Never used to be an issue until a couple of weeks ago. Thanks for any help
Have had the same problem, Cromer. If you tap (or click) on 'Loading Tweet' it should open in Twitter. If it doesn't work, close Twitter and tap (or click) on 'Loading Tweet' again. That's never failed for me. Hope that helps.
Sadly makes no difference (unless I'm not doing it right) but thanks for the tip. As long as others can see the images, pictures or gifs then that's what matters.
Sadly, the World Cup gave people an inflated idea of England's capabilities. They got to the semi-final by beating teams they were expected to beat and that stopped with Croatia. This is the problem with judging teams by results rather than actual performances. They played well enough last night, but just not well enough to beat a team like Spain. Southgate is right to focus on young players and hopefully they will improve enough to beat the big teams.
