I can never understand football crowds behaviour on booing opposition players. Surely this has the opposite to the intended effect. The player gets motivated to play better just to show the crowd. Ramos was never going to be put off. Quite the opposite. And it is England not LFC, so the whole thing was just pointless.
it depends on player. sterling as prime example. lovren .. some players run and hide. some step up. imo once you start booing, well it's be seen as a victory for the other guy if you stopped mid game. (in the minds of those who do boo)
