Mind-numbing boring blockbuster films made lots of profit, usually, which allowed film companies to make other, far more interesting, films. Piracy, or intellectual property theft as that is what it is reduces those profits and will affect the number and quality of this type of film. Those people below the title will earn less money and work less often.
