If GP is serious about bringing the youth through then surely these guys should be playing in the U23s to bring on the next lot of players given their squad has been recently depleted by all the first team call ups
IMO both haven't played due to the transfer / loan window so they should now be in contention , but the U23's should support the 1st team and not the other way around therefore their experience should be to those who are just breaking into the 1st team
Dyer I really think should be used, he still has a lot to offer at this level, not sure about Narsingh, though he can be very good on his day.
I agree but if they’re not in GP’s thoughts then they should be used to bring through the next batch. It all seems bizarre and a little perverse how little game time they’ve had
I think they will be used from here onwards, if we can get their heads in the game every one of them has something to offer at this level.
Potter has already said the team will be based on merit so they should be picked if he thinks they are the best players for the relevant positions. He may have different roles for them anyway because its clear that he thinks outside the box.
Bench is the place for them and used now and then if needed.....They can't be impressing anyone in training and are down the pecking order now......It is all down to them to impress in training and they may be selected.....
If i had to keep one of them then i would have to keep Narsingh who i think could fit in with some help......Loved Dyer and Routs but it's time they moved on....
For the foreseeable future we've got all three plus Macakay and Asoro. We could see all 5 given roles in the next few months. We may as well use them if we are paying their wages.
