    How wonderful?? Glasgow Rangers are through to the Group stages of the Europa League. Keeping my fingers crossed that Celtic can also qualify.

    Nice write up on the Beeb about Sholing FC Manager, Dave Diaper (I get down there a few times a season for a grass roots experience). He is an institution for The Boatmen and won the FA Vase at Wembley in 2014...well done Dave...<applause>

    Just watching the Man City documentary. Having to put up with the Sterling last minute winner is bad enough but to watch the final match where they beat us last minute to get 100 points is sickening. How on earth did we not hold out for a draw...

    England women qualify for the World Cup with a game to spare after beating Wales 3-0. Wales put on a good performance in the first half, but faded on the second half when England stepped up the game. Wales need other matches to go for them to qualify, but it looks unlikely.

    Reckon he probably wanted CL football and that's what the 'promise' was.

    What we should have done is signed him before Celtic did.

    And Celtic wasn't out of CL until after the English deadline. This split deadline thing is really a nuisance.

    But yeah, I really wanted him when he was at Fulham, too.

    Celtic's transfer window in short...

    Three class players out the door (Roberts, Armstrong, Dembele)

    Replaced by a guy from St Mirren with no SPL experience, Izzy on a free, a guy on a free who didn't have a club.

    Not only a disgrace but a total and utter embarrassment.
