Yes, I've had a go at answering that on the 2018-19 Season thread.

 

Madders has run the show for Leicester all game. Southgate is in the crowd. Get him in the England team now! We need a player like him. He's everywhere, fantastic control and passing. Picking out passes you don't expect him to attempt. England really lack a player like that to open up opponents. Cannot understand how he hasn't got a call up.

 

He'll be at CR on Thursday with the under 21s!!
He's more than ready to play with the BIG boys now!!

 

He could play in that Man City team.

 

Liverpool looked awful today. Not seen them look that bad for a long time. Leicester looked great!

After seeing JM play last season, I always hoped that in time, he was destined to become a key player in the PL. I NEVER in my wildest dreams believed that he would make the transition so seamlessly or so rapidly.
I watched the highlights on MotD last night and he had at least 2 shots on goal which were on target had a Liverpool defender not got a block in.
He also got the Sky MotM award which considering the Mega Millions that some of the Liverpool players cost speaks volumes of his rise to his rightful place and play against some of the best in England/World.
He has now played against ManUre and Liverpool and appears completely at ease and willing to try the same trickery we were fortunate to witness last season.

I know several posters feel we should have held out for more, but IMO, he has gone to the right club for a fair price, as I guess he'll be in the starting 11 nearly every game - who was on the bench for Liverpool yesterday - Keita and how much was his transfer fee - £>50M!!!!

I'm going into Chapelfield to get a ticket for the Under 21 game on Thursday, as I want to see him play again.
