Have a god hol, back from Cleethorpes now. Nice Haven site but didnt reckon much to the sea front bit, not much there really. Got stung by the 2nd wasp this summer (1st was in the mouth at one of the music festivals). Never been stung before! Daughter had bad accident in dodgems, massive bruise on forehead, black eyes, lump growing by the second and they called ambulance. Thank god all was good though, we got bumped behind so was pissed off as I couldnt protect her like I do if I see it coming. Its our ride we do and doesnt seem to have put her off. The staff were saying the night before two brothers got in a punch up and had to be split as one got his tooth knocked out on the ride and said his mam was gonna kill him! Last night was really busy, no where to sit and my daughter ran to the front, I stood there keeping an eye on her and this bloke taps me on my shoulder. I turned round and he starts giving me a gobful telling me to sit down and Im like where the **** you expect me to do that? There was a group of girls stood next to us as well and I said to him you going to ask them as well? He was so angry, the bitter fat boy looked like he was going to have a heart attack! I said if you were a bit taller you'd be able to see over me which he didnt like and then my Mrs moved us along Thought he was going to come at me in the toilets or something, he was porper angry and sweating and that Some bellends about I tell thee
TBF, I was ****ing fuming mate :bandit Only got here today but seems a decent Haven site apart from serving Carling! Sea front is decent despite being a bloody looking way to the sea! Our pooch loves it though, just about to take him out again actually.
Oh and no I didnt need a bloody scooter, was using one crutch and was hurting (biggest Haven site we've stayed at, done several) but all the walking will be good in the long run (ditched the one crutch by mid week)
Going to be decent weather this weekend I think, have a good one. Our weather wasnt bad, got better 2 nd half of this week
This Haven site is massive. We were greeted at the entrance to be told the reception was "three quarters of a mile down the road on the left", that literally took us to the middle of the site!
Sounds a big un, way I looked at it is could eat more rubbish as I'd walk it off + the swimming and the digging at the beach and that. Put a bit on but nothing too major
Oh and I didnt want to/mean to block anyones view, but if I am ask me to move without the aggressiveness (yes I did Google that spelling), epsecially with my family at a family place. Wasnt like it was a lads night out or whatever and even then, I cant stand rudeness
Was hoping to go swimming but just found out the Mrs didn't pack swimming shorts (despite me putting them in my pile) for me and the kids. Means it'll cost me quite a bit of we do go swimming. Told the boys they could go in the sea in their boxers instead Eating out is part and parcel of being being away imo. But in a family of five (especially including me) isn't exactly cheap!
