I always liked him in all honesty. Not prolific but an absolute grafter. I can forgive a lack of skill and talent if a player gives 100% on the pitch - Dio gave that. Some of our shirkers at the present don’t and lack of effort and application is catching. If you have a player that puts in the effort it can be infectious and make other players put in the same level of effort. I’d take that every time at the moment.

Surely the manager knows what the budget is so should be able to confirm incomings as he is speaking to the players aswell? If Adkins has very little say in who comes in what the **** is he doing sticking with a job he has no chance of succeeding in. Also talking riddles this afternoon helps nobody either sign players or be honest and say we don't have the funds and this is the group of players we have. When your second bid is lower than your first you've no chance of signing anyone. If Rehab bucks the trend get ready for players who are young/inexperienced, old/over the top or have off the field personal/social problems. This club has more than it's fair share of the latter category.
