Absolutely brilliant performance by Spurs. OK the first half an hour wasn't great but we rode out the storm and picked them off at will.
This is a team that believes and we could possibly have that match winner / differene maker in Lucas.

  9. Lads, we have a new centre-forward... Lucas Moura!

I said, when we signed him, that the lad is going to blow the Prem apart once he gets up to speed. I do believe that he has arrived a season earlier than I expected.

    What a player we have!

And what a stroke of genius on Poch's part to play him at Centre Forward!

And we've still got Son to return!

Llorente, get your coat, son. Your services are no longer needed.

Spurs 3 United 0. Now I'm dreaming of a white Christmas at New White Hart Lane.

I recall us scoring 4 at Old Trafford (Smithy scoring 3) and won 4-3 against the Busby Babes before the crash.1957-8 I believe.

First time since 1993 we have won away back to back at big six sides.

Even Sky Sports are praising Spurs.

It's only the third game, but that's a big win, because it's the kind of game we often didn't win in the past. I think and hope Pochettino has matured. He played the players and the tactics he thought gave him the best chance to win. I had the impression he wouldn't upset apple carts in other seasons. While Spurs played on the counter occasionally last year, Moura is a powerful reason to do so more often this year. Nice decision to tell him to stay on in the 80th minute, incidentally.

Better finishing played a big part, of course, but better defending may have played a bigger one. Dembele and Alderweireld, in particular, made any number of excellent tackles and interceptions to snuff out threats.

  17. Dembele is such a big player for us. When he's fully fit, we are nigh on impossible to break down in midfield.

Perhaps he thinks that he is managing the Spammers. They can't read. Clearly he's trying to turn them into the spam on the pitch.
