it's really simple. the football league cup is run by who? The fa premier league and fa cup are run by who? there is the answer. a fa rule favours fa competition...shock.
The advantage is that if we got a 3 match ban that means our player misses 3 PL games, whereas a player for a small club like Everton only misses 2 PL games
Ahh, that explains it then. It wouldn't be fair for their players being banned from a competition that other players aren't playing in, a bit like your players might get a ban in the CL but not in the league. All seems very fair now
Yes it would also be #bentasfuck if we could run out a PL ban by resting a player in CL games when we've already topped our group, but that's not the case like it is with the LC
Exactly, because other teams don't have players in the CL and will never have that opportunity during the season, in the LC all teams will have the chance to do it
Mind you, this thread already has 5 times the number of posts compared to tonight's Spurs game on the MU board
Jurgen Klopp ready to make changes after Liverpool 'lost the plot' http://www.msn.com/en-gb/sport/foot...iverpool-lost-the-plot/ar-BBMtZAO?ocid=AARDHP
Totally misleading. They are two unrelated parts of his statement put together to suggest cause and effect.
agreed. he is not even talking about Leicester game he is talking about playing 2 games a week form here on in and managing the squad like he needs to.
I wonder if Diego will ever enter into a normal discussion again or just try and argue for the sake of it for the rest of the season?
Be a tough game this. No vardy should help us out in theory but probably be toughest game of the season so far. Up there with palace in terms of tricky ness
We did them double last season with Vardy. Maybe we are going to concede a goal, but I expect us to out all the points.
Absolute must win going into the International break. Following that our games will be: Away at Tottenham Home to Southampton Away to Chelsea Home to Man City Plus add a champions league game or two to that
