Yeah the quality of some of the football is of a much higher standard than the league we're in and it's producing goals too. It was said before he signed that Ross favours attacking football and it's great to watch, haven't had a sniff of it since Allardyce and that was only brief. I think there'll be at least 29K at the next game and you can be sure the place will be buzzing, the cobwebs have been cleared away and we're back to supporting the team properly even if we are losing, as it should be but hasn't, understandably to an extent.
Today will have been a blessing in disguise. Id like to think our players now realise after 2 big wins we cant just expect to turn up and steam roll teams. They need to stay focused and be proffesional and i expect us to improve even more now with 7 days off and even more players returning from fittness.
That’s just it though. Often you learn more from a defeat than a victory. At 1-0 that’s what I thought That said, I hope we learn less for the entire season!!
Looks a great result from the highlights. Seemed as if we were under the cosh quite a bit and battled through to win. Over the moon for Catts too.
Extended highlights https://www.safc.com/news/team-news/2018/august/afc-wimbledon/highlights-v-afc-wimbledon All things considered - a great result yet again.
They shudda been out of sight before we got the winner. We were very lucky and looked poor defensively. We deffo got away with one yesterday - I suppose it was at the end of 4 games in 10 days. Hats off for staying in the game and a superb winner from Catts. Bart
Would have took four points out of six for the two away games but six is making a huge statement. As seen when we come under pressure we just need to be patient because we seem as though we can score at will. That’s pretty frightening when you think we are only playing with one fit striker. When everyone’s fit god knows what we will be like. Many congratulations to the club management for turning things around and giving us our team and club back!!
Aye that'll be it . . . . 'cos there's no way that he'll be playing well 'cos he wants to play well for S.A.F.C.
