Rotherham were also interested in signing Bolger, but they didn't follow up their interest in him.

 

If we sign Bolger what does that say about Ronald McDonald and that 40 year old looking young Centre half.
Back 4 is shambolic at times but do we really need to be taking a chance on a lower league centre half when we are skint and are crying out for an other CM and CF??

I’m not against this. We would be buying them in January anyway (otherwise their parent clubs wouldn’t let them leave), so it works for me.

 

Why a cm though Sterling? I assume he's a cm, is he?

 

He is a CM, but he's more a Livermore type than an AM. Adkins obviously doesn't rate Stewart and I don't think he views Henriksen as a deep lying central midfielder. Evandro is now suspended, so all of a sudden we're left with Batty and Irvine. If nothing else, it gives us a bit more depth and a bit of quality off the bench that we're severely lacking.
