Lots have been said about our performances since Bielsa arrived, and lets be honest, we're watching the majority of players from last season, but they look like a different team.

We're playing better football, putting in better performances, passing is great, and the goals seem to be coming thick and fast, but we did do same at start of last season so, will it be another groundhog day season for us?

I can't see us falling apart any time soon under Bielsa. Bielsa is somewhat of a perfectionist, and if he sees bits falling off he knows how to fix it, something previous managers didn't know how to do.

Bielsa seems to have a plan B waiting in the wings, which we saw a glimpse of when he subbed Phillips against Derby.

What Bielsa has done with these players seems like bewilderment to some of our own fans, but also to opposition coaches and fans; we're being talked about in a positive manner outside Leeds United.

Slow start, then we took command and beat Norwich convincingly, even though it was expected by some to be a bit of a tight game, then again, they don't have a Bielsa, or an Alioski, Saiz, Pablo, Berardi, Klich, and so on and so on.

Klich is coming into his own, virtually disowned by TC and fingerbottom Klich is proving them wrong. I give full credit to, and applause Klich for standing his ground and wanting to come back and fight for his place in the Leeds team; most players would've upt and left for another team.

I said all along, along with a couple of others Klich has what we need in midfield, and he's certainly proving that point with good performances and 3 goals in 5 league games.........So, let's bring Adryan back too.:emoticon-0105-wink:

Over the first 5 games, we've seen better football performances, much improved passing, heads don't drop and, more importantly, we have multiple goal scorers and don't rely on any one man, result is, we are, at moment, scoring multiple goals from multiple scorers per game, as opposed to last season and season before..........Wood who?

It may just be me, but I'm starting to see similarities in the way both The Don and Bielsa have / had their teams playing football.

    Have fun.

There are similarities to the team of the late 60’s and 70’s yes. The same pressing play, whether at home or away.

I also see some similarities between Revie and Bielsa. Don smiled more but he was dour and to the point. He poured over dossiers about our opponents, I’m certain he would have watched videos of them if they been readily available then, both managers were/are almost obsessional in that regard. Another thing - the players trusted Don. I think, from a few signs, the same may be happening here. Phillips being brought off after less than half an hour and just accepting it may be an example.

That first goal, what a cross, what a header, nice follow up and positioning.

I appreciate the links being posted. Just realised another common factor with Don, I actually want to hear what Bielsa has to say about the game. I was admittedly only a youngster but I hung on every word from Don Revie (mainly quoted in the papers, less often on tv, in those days).

To be frank, after their first few press conferences, I stopped listening to what Monk, Heckingbotyom, The Hock had to say (all of them not just those 3).

In the second half of his press conference Marcelo talks at great length about Pablo ...... it is really very interesting, make sure you listen.

    Two snippets (paraphrased by me):

Q - can you make Pablo a better player?
A - he can make me a better coach

After that Bielsa explains what he means: ‘Pablo is a silent leader’, he sees what the team needs, even if very difficult he does them and shapes how the team plays without saying a word. He does things I had not considered.

As I said, always worth listening to Marcelo.

Listen to the press conference, it’s annoying because of the delays translating but Bielsa is a seriously class act

There were 3 brilliant contributions to Klich's goal, Pablos run, look up and cross, Alioski's powerfull header and Klich's goal.

If you watch the goal where Pablo picks up the ball, as he runs to his right, you'll see the leeds players and the Norwich defence all running right with him. This drew lots of players away from Alioski. Pablo looked across, saw Alioski and with virtual pinpoint accuracy put the ball on Alioski's head.

I'm not saying it was Pablos intent to draw most of the defenders across with him, maybe 1 or 2, but it was brilliant to watch how the goal transpired....:emoticon-0148-yes:
