I have a feeling the outcome of the Stoke game is going to be a familiar occurrence throughout this season. The quality of players are just not good enough, we certainly missed Irvine, he has become one of the most important players to get the team on the front foot. Henriksen is just too lightweight in midfield, even though he is not a combative type of midfielder, maybe Toral might bring more creativity to the position? We are in for a long hard season and thank God that Ben's story bought a smile to my face, rather than the doom and gloom around this club of ours.
Morning after. Utter ****e was perhaps a tad harsh. On paper Stoke are a decent, solid side for the CCC. Comfortable afternoon for them even when they were way below their best. To be fair to the players, I think they gave it a go, but as a collective they are just not good enough We have no real pace, not much height, little physical presence, little bite, and next to no threat up front. That's the reality of what Nige is having to contend with. Having said that, I was pretty pissed off to see us time-wasting last 10 minutes when 2 - nil down. We had given up on the game, instead of trying to grab a goal then who knows what might have happened. Still don't understand why Milinkovic isn't even getting a look in. If Nige doesn't fancy him, what the hell is the point of the signing. Relegation coming our way unless there's some late rabbits coming out of hats. #ticktock

I tried that but it gets to you and you end up getting that distanced from it you just cant be bothered with it all. Its not so bad once you start to do other things in life such as search for streamed City games …..
Didn't go so going by what I saw on TV....Conceded from a corner again!!!! McClean standing all on his tod at the edge of the box with no city player within ten yards of him. Recipe for conceding a goal is that. First thing I was taught years ago, when defending a corner, put a man on the edge of the box to win the loose ball. Who's coaching City? (Deemed ok to play out wide left but when LB is injured moved to RB and our only consistent player then moved to LB??) Toral a CM. Irvine a CM. All whilst having a winger (he bought not having started 1 of the 6 games we played) sat on the bench practicing pulling up his shorts legs.
