Striker Wilfried Bony is recovering from an anterior cruciate ligament knee injury but is not yet ready to return. Bristol City signing Tomas Kalas could make his debut following a midweek loan move from Premier League side Chelsea. City are without Korey Smith for six months after he suffered a knee injury against Middlesbrough last weekend. Match facts Since winning 7-1 against Bristol City in September 2005, Swansea have scored just three goals in nine league games against the Robins (W2 D4 L3), failing to score in seven of those matches. In Swansea, the last four league meetings between the teams have produced just two goals - a 1-0 win for Swansea in April 2009 and a 1-0 victory for Bristol City in November 2010. Bristol City have won just one of their last 15 matches in Wales in all competitions (D4 L10), the aforementioned victory against Swansea in November 2010. Swansea striker Oliver McBurnie scored twice in City's 2-2 midweek draw with Leeds - the Scotsman has scored 15 goals in the Football League, all from inside the box. Bristol City striker Andreas Weimann has scored four league goals in four appearances for the Robins this season - just one fewer than he managed in 40 games for Derby last season (5). Swansea have not drawn three consecutive league matches since March 2009 under Roberto Martinez. SKY Swansea have no new injury concerns for Bristol City's visit in the Sky Bet Championship. Leroy Fer will be assessed following Tuesday's 2-2 draw against Leeds after starting his first game since rupturing an Achilles in February. But the Dutchman is expected to start in the Swansea engine room, while Wales Under-21 defender Joe Rodon will be handed another opportunity at the back. Wilfried Bony has stepped up his rehabilitation after tearing his anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee in February, although the Ivorian striker is not ready to return just yet. Tomas Kalas is expected to make his Bristol City debut after completing a season-long loan from Chelsea. The Czech Republic international has extensive experience of the Championship after spells at Middlesbrough and Fulham and his versatility provides Robins boss Lee Johnson with extra defensive options. Johnson plans to put selection on hold as he has a "few walking wounded" following Tuesday's 3-0 win at QPR, City's first of the season. Midfielder Korey Smith is expected to be sidelined for up to six months after knee surgery. Honest to god the Bristol Post makes me giggle sometimes, they've put up a sub headline ~ 'Does Tomas Kallas come straight in to a winning team?', we have only won 1 game so far and he is our new star man.Still nice to start the day off happy. https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport...s/selection-issues-facing-lee-johnson-1936048
https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/w...seals-agreement-to-join-efl-side-the-verdict/ More good words about Tomas Kallas.
I can’t see us beating Swansea at their gaff to be honest. I’d take a draw from this one as a good result. Obviously if we go ahead I might revise that expectation

no MO ….. Had a vision this am that we would score from the off ..first 3 mins and was going to change my prediction, in the end I stuck with the goal time I had put … but lets not get complacent and try and defend... more its still 0-0 and we need to score 2 ……………
Oh no....2 wins on the bounce, what will the "moaners/haters/going backwards brigade" depress us with now?
Lets guess, QPR rubbish, although they won today, Swansea had a bad day, no credit for LJ and the boys, me, what a great couple of results, long may it continue.
Good result & performance - turns our start into a decent one. I'm sure Sparkey will be by at some point to say well done!
