I think Batty has done a great job. He’s put some of his senior professionals to shame with his performances. The lad should be justifiably happy.
That's a really irritating modern football cliche isn't it. It's not just Adkins, every bastard on TV or radio likes to pad their answers out with it.

So , how do you cause the currently fragile detente between McClean & Butland to evaporate? Deflect the ball off McClean past Butland for an OG - half time tunnel bust-up is guaranteed to ensue. That should augur well for a Tigers victory.
Good to see three of our players (Lichaj, Bowen, and Irvine) make the Championship team of the week this week. Have we had anyone on there so far this season? Apart from our shocking vulnerability to set pieces and crosses into our box we seem to be definitely improving. Stoke will be a real test after their mid-week disaster against Wigan and I assume Crouch will start. I'd like to see a starting line up of... Marshall Lichaj Burke DeWijs Kingsley Kane Henriksen Evandro Irvine Bowen Campbell Time to play two up top...1-1 with Stoke to score first.
Finally got round to listening to Nige and Battz in the presser. Have to say, the excerpts Lambo posted from the HDM come across as nothing like the actual interview. He (Nige) speaks well. Yes, I'd rather he called Ehab a ****, but it ain't gonna happen. Given that fact, I'd much rather he continues trying to make the best he can of the situation. The only reason he was so pissed off with the booing earlier and why he was so down and questionning his future, other than being pissed off having lost a football match, was that he knows he and players don't deserve that. The booing and anger should be aimed directly at one family only.
It’s strange in the 3 games this season we scored 1st we either lost or drew. The game we conceded 1st we won
I just wish Nige would answer yes he was pissed off I dropped him instead of avoiding the question. If he wasn't we are in trouble with such a small squad and at least one who doesn't give a toss.
Or maybe him saying that would be stating the obvious / domething that doesnt need saying? Instead he focussed on how he has 1 to 1s with every player; what hed done well what he needs to improve. Sounds spot on to me.
Some sections of City supporters seem to take pleasure in booing there own team. That said some of our supporters, especially in darker times have shown and given incredible vocal support under extreme provocation from various boardroom regimes.
So, as many of us expected, the Rotherham win just papered over the cracks. The result at Stoke was just inevitable because to put it simply, this team is only going to take us one way and that is down to Div1.
