Spot on Oslo! Yes, we are making individual errors and we are not converting our chances. Potentially this may be fixed by coaching and better strikers. However I am shocked as we totally seem to have changed our "attitude" and "fighting spirit". We are a totally different team. It is as if some new software has been installed - their behaviour is unrecognisable. This is "motivatation" and no matter how good a coach McClaren may be, he does not have a good track record as a manger and probably means as a "motivator". This could be our biggest problem and I don't know if we know how to solve it. The results of the first four matches say a very loud "no" and the problem is getting worse.
Now that we have new strikers coming in - is anyone brave enough to propose a starting line for Saturday? I feel so washed-out and depressed by the whole situation, that what would normally be "fun" and "enjoyment", would now be "burden" and a "pain". I am actually pleased that I will be going to see an airshow this Saturday so will not watch the R's and potentially be even more frustrated!
To be honest would rather get rid of Sylla , for all his huffing and puffing and least Connor try’s whereas Sylla doesn’t even huff never mind puff !!!
About time he will be a success anywhere else and we will sell him for 500k He will then become the top scorer at the next Euros before signing for Chelsea
There's another possible factor. Jamie Mackie. For all the doubters over his ability, he was a real 150% player - never leaving anything on the pitch or the training ground. His attitude and application was immense. I think we're missing a character like that on the playing staff.
Just in, Wells deal agreed. Apparently they've blindfolded him, tied him up and bundled him into the back of a car with the engine running...
Just a defence to loan in now then. And, frankly, a midfield. I don’t get the praise for that bunch at all.
