Les, McClown, John Eustace and Lee Hoos all left the training ground to go meet two players today apparently - here's hoping that they've managed to get some deals signed.....
Do we really believe 2 loan signings will save our season? I don't Yes we need a striker and a defender but ultimately they all need a game plan and motivation I can't see much of either thus far
This is so true. The guts, fight back, motivation that was so apparent last season even on the streams, has disappeared this. Surely due to the new Management.
I heard that we have gone for a route master bus as a signing...something to park in front of the goal..... I don't think we need 11 players - I just think that confidence and a little luck is what we need, A shot to hit someone on the backside and fly into the net. The opposition to get a penalty which is saved. Players that can start to believe in themselves. This was always going to be a difficult season - season in which the players should be wanting to prove they can play at a higher level. I have read that on some sites there are players getting abuse from the crowd......whether they deserve it or not WE are all in the brown stuff together. Just think - if we go down---MacClaren's reputation is well and truely shot. The players will think that maybe they are only good enough for league 1 or below. A transfer embargo works both ways so players cannot escape either Come on - get a couple of players in and see their enthusiasm help raise the other players. I would love to see the two strikers come in on loan from Brighton and Burnley. IT may even help CW as he can learn from them. Get in James Collins at the back - a real leader on the pitch. Bassoong would be a good signing bu he would have to be fit. Midfield...not too sure we really need anyone - we just need to have a formation that works. We are QPR. We don't do easy. Staying up will be hard. But this is after 4 games. Believe in QPR. PS I will take all the crap you want to hurl at me should we go down...but my blood is blue and white..Rangers till I die
Looking at his posture last night and the attitude of the players I think you can safely say that this is the quickest a manager has ever lost the changing room, it doesn’t take much to work out that he cannot motivate the players because they just don’t want to play for him in my opinion. It doesn’t matter if we get 4/5 quality players in on loan or sign a few free agents, Maclown has no chance of integrating them into a poor team and changing results, the painful truth is he is not good enough, Derby fans, Forest fans,Newcastle fans they are all saying so, so no matter how good he thinks he is, no matter how he tries to convince Amit he is the man for the job Amit must let him go and Amit must insist that Les Ferdinand carries Steve’s bags out to his car then gets in and joins him in departing. As much as I used to love watching Les on the pitch, off it he is nothing short of a disaster and disappointment.
So the question is. If Maclaren leaves (by whatever means) - 1) Who would want the job (other than posters on here like myself) 2) Can the club afford to pay off the ret of Mac's Contract 3) would the players actually play for us (or another who came in) 4) why - part from us fans - who would want to take over a club that cannot buy, has 9 days to get loanees in (if they can be persuaded) and who could completely damage their career unless they have something to prove
Steve says he's working on getting a couple of loan signings in before Saturday. Not leaving himself much time. What's the cutoff for new signings before a game?
We do need a forward who can score. The fear when we go behind is now tangeable. The whole team knows we cannot score at will. So it is game over if we go behind. It has been like this for two years, we have no goalscorers.. Just the midfielders who put in 5-10 goals a season, which is all they are supposed to do Get someone who really can score, who can take 1 in 2/3 chances, score 15 or more goals... The pressure would ease....where would we get some one like this without 10s of millions of pounds I have no idea..... Sent from my STF-L09 using Tapatalk
Been needing a regular goal-scorer since Austin left..... .. All the fans knew it...... Why has it not been addressed sooner....
As long as Wells passes the medical I think he will be the difference for us this season between staying up and going down, think we still need an experienced half decent CD as well but I’m feeling a bit more positive already!
So Mac is saying that Hemed is also nearly tied on with string. Btw... Wells is a 1 goal in 3 appearances...Hemed a 1 goal in 4 appearances striker....both have done well in the Championship If this doesn't work then nothing will.... DavidMac is also saying Conor to Millwall is still a strong possibility. Sent from my STF-L09 using Tapatalk
Apparently neither are with a view to a permanent move, always thinking adds more incentive to the player but hey ho we takes what we can gets.
We need another Richard Dunne - a leader on the pitch who is probably too old to be considered by PL teams - but can do a job for a couple of years in the Championship
